TRANSPARENCY & OPEN GOVERNMENT
The people of Morrisville expect and deserve transparent, open government. When I first ran for Mayor, this was one of my most important issues and it remains so today.
Since I have been Mayor, I have fostered a proactive, progressive culture to enhance the quality of life for our residents. We have crafted a strategic plan and supporting plans that serve as a roadmap to a thriving community. We continue to evolve our town website to better serve and engage our residents, with features such as Morrisville Pro and our new open data portal.
A big part of open, transparent government is listening. Stakeholder engagement is critical. I’m excited about our new Smart City Steering Committee, composed of residents empowered to pursue ideas and programs to keep Morrisville on the leading edge of technology.
